Islampur, Sangli – The Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society organized the Lokmanya Lifesavers – CPR and First Aid Training Campaign, which received an enthusiastic response from participants. The event was held on Friday, 2nd August, at Yashwantrao Chavan Hospital, Islampur.
During the training, practical demonstrations were conducted by Mahaling Islmapur. The session was led by Anshuman Sawant (Chief Medical Services Officer & Chief Instructor), Mahaling Islmapur (Head of Emergency Department), along with their team, who provided valuable technical guidance.
Participants were educated on the importance of CPR and First Aid in saving lives during emergencies or accidents. The trainers emphasized that mastering CPR skills is essential to saving lives in critical situations.
The campaign also conveyed the message that every individual in society should be prepared to provide immediate assistance during emergencies, ensuring timely help and potentially saving lives.
