Job Summary

Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society is seeking an experienced and strategic- minded Group Head of HR to join our team at the Head Office in Pune. The Group Head of HR will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance appraisal, grievance handling, and retention. An MBA in HR or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding of
    talented professionals.
  • Develop and maintain effective employee engagement programs to enhance job satisfaction,
    productivity, and retention.
  • Lead the performance appraisal process, ensuring fairness and transparency in evaluating employee
    performance and providing constructive feedback.
  • Develop and implement talent management initiatives, including career development plans and
    succession planning.
  • Manage employee relations, including grievance handling, conflict resolution, and disciplinary
    actions.
  • Design and implement effective compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for
    enhancing HR effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to labor laws, health and safety, and other
    relevant regulations.
  • Foster a positive work culture that promotes diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering their professional development and
    ensuring effective team management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR management in the finance industry.
  • Strong leadership ability and experience in managing and mentoring teams.
  • MBA in HR or a related field is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of HR metrics and their impact on business performance.
