Job Summary

Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Manager – Forex to join our team in Belgaum. The Manager – Forex will be responsible for overseeing the Forex operations and managing the sales of Forex services. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Forex industry, with a strong understanding of Forex rules, regulations, and sales. They should possess leadership skills and the ability to drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day Forex operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Manage the sales of Forex services, including foreign currency exchange, international remittances, and travel cards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize Forex revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized Forex solutions and excellent customer service.
  • Stay updated with Forex market trends, currency rates, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and timely information to clients.
  • Monitor market risks and recommend appropriate hedging strategies to minimize Forex-related risks.
  • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to ensure smooth Forex transactions and timely settlements.
  • Prepare reports on Forex transactions, revenue, and market analysis for management review.
  • Train and mentor team members on Forex rules, regulations, sales techniques, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations, compliance, and risk, to streamline Forex processes and enhance service delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovations in the Forex industry.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the Forex industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Forex rules, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven track record in Forex sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent understanding of currency exchange, international remittances, and travel cards.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Male candidates within the age range of 30-45 will be considered for this position.
