Belgaum – To honor the sacrifices and valor of the heroes of the Indian independence movement, the Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society has undertaken a unique initiative. Under the guidance of Mr. Shahasran’s concept, an exhibition showcasing rare photographs of 2000 freedom fighters will be organized in various schools, colleges, and public places across the city and nearby areas.

The initiative aims to inspire students and citizens by presenting a visual journey through the history of India’s freedom struggle. Many students have already had the opportunity to witness this exhibition in several schools, gaining a deeper understanding of India’s historical legacy.

The exhibition will travel to different locations on the following dates:

  • 19 August – Maratha Mandir, Belgaum

  • 20 & 21 August – RPD College Library

  • 22 & 23 August – Jnana Mandir School

  • 25 & 26 August – T.B. Vav, Channamma Polytechnic, Khanapur

  • 28 to 30 August – Somwar Peth Gym, Nipani

  • 1 & 2 September – Baburao Thakur High School, Javoor

  • 3 September – Patwardhan College, Kudal, and Kapileshwar High School, Kapileshwar

This program plays a significant role in nurturing national pride and historical awareness among the younger generation.
