As an HR Head and Presiding Officer of the POSH Committee, I often remind myself that policies alone don’t make workplaces safe — people do.

Over the years, I’ve realized that creating a safe and respectful environment is not just about compliance with the POSH Act (Prevention of Sexual Harassment, 2013). It’s about building trust — the kind that lets employees feel confident to speak up, share concerns, and know they will be heard with empathy.

At Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd., we’ve made it our ongoing mission to: ✨ Hold open conversations on respect and boundaries at work.

✨ Ensure our Internal Committee listens with sensitivity and fairness.

✨ Empower every individual — regardless of gender or designation — to feel safe and valued.

POSH is not just a law; it’s a promise we make to one another — that everyone deserves dignity at work.

If even one person feels more secure, more confident, and more respected because of these efforts, that’s the true success of a POSH culture.

Let’s continue to create workplaces where kindness, equality, and respect are part of our everyday interactions — not just our policies. 🌸
